How do I check my cervix

I apologise if I am being stupid but I am 5dpo today and wondered how I check my cervix and what I should be looking for in order to see if it is getting ready for PG/Implantation...

I really have no clue at all, need all the help I can get we have been ttc for a year.

Ok I found one HERE it does have pictures so be warned! lol you dont need a spectulum though all u need is very clean hands I tried this yesterday and found it pretty easily but that is because its low and hard as im not ovingnext month i will deffo incorperate this into my charting ect, hope it helps xxx
