She's having a quiet day today, my OB told me not to worry until I am further along so I am trying not to. But I would feel so much better if she started kicking again. I've tried drinking cold water and eating but she only gave one tiny kick. Does anyone have any tricks for waking up their babies?:baby:

eat ice ( i use to ) they do have quiet times tho ,if ur worried phone mat ward and they will monitor ur kicks/movements for 1/2hr x

Give em a giggle and a little poke wakes mine up but is normally only for her to move around and kick alittle till in place again that is always enough to reasure me

Am sure your baby is fine just having a sleepy day x

OMG it worked!!!!!!! I ate ice and started poking my belly and she's now moving again! Thanks sooo much ladies :hugs: Phew...what a relief :happydance:

Cough
Eat ice-cream
Drink fizzy drinks
Drink caffeine in any form
Eat some sugary sweets
Poke your bump
Talk to the bump (baby will recognise your voice)
Lay still and rub your bump
Play some music that you love, maybe old songs that reminds you of something

Wow! same thing happened to me a day back! I panicked and call my doc after waiting for some 10 hours while my baby was making only faint kicks and less frequent movements. My doc suggested to have an ultrasound for fetal wellbeing check. Just as I was considering to go for it, I just tried to relax myself a little by reassuring myself that all will be well and decided to wait for a couple of hours before going for the ultrasound. I also had my lunch meanwhile, which was a properly large meal. Soon after I noticed that the kicks became stronger and more frequent. By evening the movements started becoming normal again and now everything seems fine. Touchwood! I guess having a big meal makes the baby more active..

I know its quite stressful when baby makes lesser movements, but don't get very tensed. Everything should turn out right eventually..

Mine kicks more when i am playing music, driving, reading, messing on the laptop or after i have eaten. Whenever i stop what i'm doing and get OH to watch for movement LO stays still lol.
