How do opks work?

I have been testing for 3 days and I to negative ovulation tests but I tested today and the line is lighter than the control line but it is darker than my tests from the last 3 days. Do ovulation tests get progressively darker as you are closer to LH surge?

Yes they will get darker. I would say ur not far away from getting a POS sweetie. I much prefer the smiley face OPK's that way there is no guessing of lines.
