How do you entertain LO when they're ill?

I know he's not in the mood to play in his jumparoo and he has a virus and diarrhoea so going out anywhere isn't really an option (although going for little walk in a bit!).

He's not wanting to sleep more than usual but just wants to sit and watch TV! I feel bad but he doesn't want to play... Just sit quiet. He even gets frustrated when I read him a story book!

What do you do when your LO's are poorly?

When my LO is like that, I cuddle with him while watching Baby Einstein or listening to soothing music. My LO is calmed by classical music - especially Mozart, so I'll cuddle with him and listen to classical pieces.

Thanks I have some classical music with nursery rhymes so will try that too! I just feel bad about letting him watch so much TV but he doesn't want to do anything else really.

this is what we do as well. its awful as he is so full of energy he never stops normally, when hes sick he just wants to sit and watch tv.

so we usually get a nice warm blanket and break out some dvd's. He doesnt watch loads of tv but its nice to get out a dvd hes never seen before (i have tonnes of disney dvds ibought myself when i was younger) and then we snuggle on the couch together. he will drift in and out of sleep most of the day. Its not ideal but its not like its everyday so its fine. And i get to secretly enjoy the cuddles as he doesnt sit still long enough to get good cuddles from anymore and i miss it lol
