I've heard having a glass of cold water works, but I've tried and it doesn't really do anything.
Just wondering if you ladies try anything else to get baby active??

I tend to find any cold drink or ice cream tends to work. But also when I'm sat in certain positions I can feel her more than others.

Sitting at my desk seems to help me feel her, having a drink, eating a chocolate biscuit... Give it a go xx

I've tried everything I've heard of and not found anything that works for me yet, baby just moves as and when they want! Usually just when I'm laid in bed. Looking forward to maybe hearing some ideas I've not tried yet, as I do worry on the quiet days!

I had this with my last pregnancy. they say chocolate or a cold drink usually helps if its fizzy or sometimes they react to light or music

I dont know why,but eating watermelon sets her off every single time. Otherwise just the usual cold water,or sitting down after being active for a while.

If I put my phone or the remote on my belly, little man will try to kick it off. Sugary drinks get him moving. I made the mistake of having a lemonade, a piece of candy, and a cookie all in a short amount of time and I swear I felt kicks for the next 2 hours!

I lay on my side and drink a fizzy drink. I've heard OJ or iced tea work well, too but I prefer diet coke or sprite. Mine also reacts when I touch my belly so that's another way to get her moving, especially when I try to move her (she pushes on the right side of my uterus so hard it hurts sometimes - when I try to push her towards the middle, she throws a fit).

Trying to go to sleep works for me... otherwise it's completely random.

Mine is totally random. I can't get him to move when I want him too. He does jump at loud noises though!

Usually as soon as I've been laying down for a while at night baby starts to get active, but he/she REALLY gets active if I eat ice cream or chocolate!

Eating/drinking something cold, or lying down either on my back or on my left x

My baby moved at random. I have been lucky cause I feel him everyday but I haven't figured out how I can make him move. If I sit at my desk I can usually feel him moving around. Also when I go to bed I usually always feel him.

Ice lollies usually get my LO going. Fizzy juice doesn't but cold water sometimes works.

Weirdly enough i had popcorn last night and it made her go a little nuts!

Not something I've tried yet but apparently if you put a bag of frozen peas where she is sat she will move away from the cold of her own accord.

You could also gently slap your belly, like a little flick/pop on the skin, when it has been quiet for a little while. The sudden noise and movement will startle the baby a little and get it moving. Also doing a small bit of exercise can help, when I went in for a scan the baby wouldn't move so they could get the measurements so they made me stand up and do a couple jumping jacks and it got her moving around.

I can push on my tummy an she responds every time... my babys super active lol:)

My baby girl is super active a lot and it's mostly just random, but if I drink some Diet A&W Cream Soda and it gets her jumping almost every time. A new development over the last couple weeks is that if I tap or poke my belly she will kick that spot back. Haha.

my little man is quite active on and off all day and night, but to get him move i just press/prod my belly and 99% of the time he will kick me back :)

I just wiggle my belly and I get instant response. Whenever I get worried, that's what I do and I'm reassured.
