how do you know your cycle length??

    i know this is very stupid but how do you work out your cycle lentgh??? is it the first day you bleed up until the next first day you bleed (so basicaslly from the start of your period to the day before your next period??) or is it from the last day of your period etc please HELP im so lost!!!!!!

    Its not Stupid!!! Its something we dont think about until you're ttc. Its the first day you bleed to the day before the next time you bleed :)

    The first day of full red bleed is cycle day 1, you would count that all the way up to the day BEFORE your next full red bleed, so if you start your period on cycle day 30, then your cycle was 29 days long!

    well just worked it out and my cycle is 40 days! but ill wait until i have a few more periods to double check :) thanks for your help xxxxxxxx
