Hi Ladies :flower:

Since sunday, my usually fantastic settler has been a nightmare! She normally BFs then goes to bed where she will stir for a few minutes but then go off beautifully! Now, she fusses like anything for at least an hour. I have kept our routine the same (6.30 bath, feed, bed @ 7/7.30) but she will not settle and I have to keep going back in and settle her.

Has DST affected your routines? Have you adapted to suit or kept the same times?

Thanks :flow:

Ours is the same. LO used to be a dream to put to bed! She'd have her bottle, then cuddle up with daddy on the rocker and 10 mins later be fast asleep in her cot!

But now it takes an hour to get her to sleep too! Even though her bedtime routine is the same and I know she's tired. She's still up at the same time and has the same amount of naps.

Want my easy settler back! :(

Hey!
I started a similar thread yesterday.
However, on the plus side, for the past two nights I've discovered that I can put my LO down awake and he'll settle himself to sleep quite quickly! :). Before this, I was cuddling him to sleep and putting him down asleep.
xx

My LO seems to be going to bed EARLIER! He normally goes to bed at 7pm (which would be 8pm if the clocks went forward right?) Anyways, he's now going to bed at 6pm (which would have been 5pm).... work that one out! Not only that... he's getting up later (as in he'd wake up at 4am (before clocks changed) for his dummy) but now he wakes up about 6/7am! I can't work him out lol!

I got Jamie up at the same time 7am.. except to him I guess it was 6am. He was a bit grouchy but he napped about 30 mins longer on the Sunday afternoon and that seemed to right him x

I've had to change my routine slightly because I found that DS tends to go to sleep now at 9pm which before was 8pm...which leads to him waking up at 10am so having his meals an hour late. So now what I've done is give him breakfast whenever he wakes up, but stick to his usual routine, but then give him his last solid feed an hour later because he ends up going to sleep at 9pm now

This totally doesn't make sense!!!

Lol, it does make sense! Are you going to try to bring it forward? Our lives revolve around her night routine and to have it an hour later would be rubbish! I wouldn't have my tea until 9pm!

Ah so that's what it is! Since sunday my LO has been difficult to settle and she is usually so good. Funny how it affects them so much!

My Lo goes to bed at the same time (8.30pm) but instead of getting up at 6.30am he now gets up at 7.30am :happydance:

it's got better, he goes to bed about 8:30 a lot less tired and gets up at about 9am. Pity he still needs to eat every 2 hours all night.
