How high up do you feel kicks?

The uterus at 25 weeks should only be a hand width from the bellybutton:

But I get distinct kicks and belly movement at least where the 32 weeks is! Everyone who wants to feel my baby kick puts their hand there and that's where they feel it...

Does anyone know why I would be feeling kicks so high now? I don't have another appointment until the 5th, but it is freaking me out a little. I have a chubby baby already... and twins run in the family. But they never saw twins and I doubt she could get THAT big in just a month! And I've had two dating scans and I know exactly when she was conceived. There's no possibility I'm further along.

my uterus is definatley higher than that, but doctors have felt it and never commented on it being too high xx

Great diagram, my kicks are usually fairly low but get the odd one by my belly button, but that is where I am meant to be according to the diagram!!

I used to think it was just my body because at 15 weeks, I measured 17. But I went back to measuring normal again.

Then an aunt commented this morning that I really shouldn't be feeling the kicks this high already!

its normal, i feel them up there aswell and i only had a scan on monday that showed everything was normal i think it can be when baby kicks upwards aswell xx

my kicks are usually fairly low, but i do get them above my belly button from time to time.
every body and every pregnancy is different. have no fears.

Thank you! My last pregnancy I hardly showed. It was all in the back. And i never felt kicks like this. So to feel these, I'm so confused!

I'm pretty sure my uterus comes higher than it should according to the chart. I wouldn't worry about it, everyones body is different, we're not robots.

cool diagram, thanks for that! I have never seen how a uterus looks from the outside during pregnancy. I went for a scan on monday 15th and my doc. had the ultrasound paddle right up by the 32 weeks line! - I couldn't believe how high it was! I don't feel kicks this high yet though.

I have felt kicks between the 28 and 32 mark also.

I would say depends on torso length, my torso is no where near as long as that diagram. I am feeling kicks right in line with my belly button and I Am almost 21 weeks now so I imagine they will be close to the 32 week line in a couple more weeks but like I said I don't have a long torso so will assume I will grow outward more once my uterus hits the top. I wouldn't worry about it!

I've had kicks that move my boobs. I think this is partly that I'm short, and partly that I have bad hunchy posture when I sit.

I dont feel kicks past my belly button at all.
Mine are still low....

most of my kicks are level with my belly button but i have some that are very low and some that seem much higher than they should be im only short though so maybe thats why.

so do i!!! and im a week behind you !!
i get them on top of the bump all time & around the sides quite high up.
rarely down low now, though i do feel movement down there. might ask when i next see my mw xx
