I got a BFN at 12dpo, making this the 5th BFN cycle.. And have never had a BFP. So I'm wondering, how long did it take you to get your very first (not just "sticky") BFP - aside from "first time we tried" or "we weren't even trying"?

2 cycles. Both cycles we only had sex the once.

I got pregnant the first cycle we tried.

I'm underweight and ive low fat and cholesterol. My periods were very light and sporadic. The month I got pregnant I was given estrogen and clomid. I also done acupuncture.

I got pregnant after DS trying for 4months but unfortunately Miscarried.

I haven't been able to get pregnant since, again low body fat I took estrogen and clomid again. So fingers crossed.

If you feel something is off tell your doctor. At 6months I knew I was off. And I went to the doctor every month from month one telling him my periods are light there not regular. So they had to take note. If I never had gone nothing would of been done.

I always recommend telling your doctor at the beginning of ttc so if your not pregnant at 6months they'll of taken note of how long your ttc. And they'll have a time frame they can do bloods and refer you to specialists.

6 months for number 1 number 2 was an oopsie currently on cycle 2 for number 3

I honestly feel so totally healthy and balanced and I just have no idea what the deal is. I have one small potential issue (previous infection) but my doc did not at all seem concerned. So Bleh. It just seems that by our 6th cycle we'd have conceived.

BFP 3 weeks after stopping BC pill but mc at 6 weeks, then waited 3 months and BFP 1st cycle again. Now cycle #1 TTC no 2. Not expecting it to be quite so easy 4 years down the line in my 30s. Good luck!

I found acupuncture great so relaxing and put me in an excellent mindset. Are your periods regular?? I used to take coq10 and royal jelly so my eggs would be nice and ripe.

:hugs: melewen. DH and I are going into cycle 7's fertile period and not a single BFP to date. I also feel like something should have happened by now being we've timed things quite well. Another also, overall feel quite healthy aside from previous infection (a very ruptured appendix when I was in the 9th grade). Well, and stress, I've recently been dealt some major stress which I'm fearing will hinder this month :nope:

Like claudinator, I did start acupuncture last month and decided to incorporate their icky concentrated chinese medicine herbal tea type stuff this month lol. Really hoping it works, but of course if it's scar tissue, it won't.

Hugs mrsG. I was the exact same at your stage. And everyone around me was getting pregnant In under 3months. It drove me crazy. And it broke my heart.

The first 3 pregnancies were within 1-2 months (one ended in mc).
This time it's longer. This is cycle 4, had a bfp but turned out it was a chemical so going into cycle 5 :(

Most people get pregnant within the first year of trying, so don't lose hope! It prob won't be too much longer! With our first it took until the 7th cycle, and neither of us seemed to have any health or fertility problems. We are ttc #2 and been trying for 6 months.

since I had a lot of miscarriages, it took almost 2 years to have my first child. and then I had to have progesterone injections the whole time. my son only took 2 months. and this time it is ongoing and so far been taking 4 months.

One night for our first.

Currently in month 7 TTC our second. So there's clearly a discrepancy there!

Honestly, there is just no logic to all this, and we spend so much time stressing about it. Hang in there. :)
