How long does it take for internal piles to go?

I have now been diagonsed with internal piles - they itch like mad and sting ALL day and ALL night.......how long until they go I am applying germaloids cream 4 times a day as I am allergic to the anusol cream.......

Sorry love have no idea but the suppositeries (sp?) are supposed to be good for internal ones

I used Preperation H suppositories & the itch cream that goes along with it ... worked wonders! Mine haven't gone away for good .. they kind of just get better & go back in for a while, but work their way back out over time .. Hope you feel better! x

I know this sounds weird - but I put thrush cream (canesten cream) up there last night and snce I have been using it (i know its not for piles...) there has bee NO itching at all.....pain still there but it's going to be there a while I think to be honest having my entire rectum torn and all!

its not weird in a way as sometimes piles can be caused by thrush- i would say when in pain you do whatever works!
