Just got told when I have my first appointment - its at 3pm and I have a blood test scheduled for 4.20pm at the same place - is that enough time for midwife or should i re-schedule the blood test???

I would have thought they would have thought this through as they made both apps at the same time but a friend of mine said the first appointment is where they do loads of measurments and talk to you for at least 3 hours?!?

She wasn't at an NHS doctors though so any help would be very very much appreciated ladies <3

Also she has never had a m/c (as far as she knows) so will my app be longer??

Hi maxi,

My appointment was scheduled for an hour but only took 40mins, midwife said it was quicker because I had fully completed by maternity notes before going.

In the 40mins she went through my notes, talked about what happens next, booked my scan, answered by questions and took my bloods.

Ah ok so hopefully i should be ok :)
Thank you Mid.night <3

it all depends on how much history with m/c and births as they have to go through it all in detail also medical history of both you and your partner
then it also depends if you get someone who is just generally slow ha but in that case just explain you have to be gone by a certain time x
