How long does your newborn sleep?

I keep reading in books that my newborn should be sleeping anywhere from 16 hours to 22 hours a day.

Daisy sleeps 12 hours max and has done for the whole 2 weeks she's been here. Have others had similar babies who don't need as much sleep?

I'm wondering if she takes after me since I don't require a lot of sleep myself.

Archie sleeps different on different days but id say on a good day he sleeps no more than 12-15. It was difficult at first as until we got sorted with feeding he was screaming for most of the time in between

Joshua certainly never slept 22 hours a day, he rarely slept. if anything he sleeps more now
