How long for a tooth to come up once it's cut?

When I went to my first dr appt when I was 8wks pregnant, I asked my dr just out of curiosity what the biggest baby was that he had delivered. He said over 13 pounds and she had a full set of teeth!!! I think that would be kinda creepy to see! Lol he said when they're fully out like that, they actually remove them, because theyre not normally "good" teeth and a lot of times they rot. So not to risk them falling out and having the baby choke, they pull them.
