How long in between conceiving and implantation takes place please? Im still rather new to this.. and how soon after OV/BD do you get early signs of preg?

I read that it's on average 5-8 days after O, but yesterday was reading a review on HPT's and a Doc said 10% of women don't get implantation till the day around when their
is due. (Which would explain some girls being late and still getting 
)
I think it varies from lady to lady.
