I was thinking about switching to a different DHA pill. The one I am currently taking is 250 mg and I'm thinking about switching to smaller, 2 pills a day totaling 480 mg.
From my research, 200 mg is recommended ON TOP of the 250 mg omega-3 intake recommended by EFSA for adults. Since I don't eat much seafood at all (maybe once a month), maybe I should possibly be taking more than the 250 mg in my current DHA pill? It probably wouldn't hurt to take more instead of not having enough.
What do you think? Should I switch from 250 mg to 480 mg?
