how many weeks am i?

My lmp was 4th august. According to due date calculators im nearly 7 weeks. In reality it will be the the 8th Thursday in two days time. So am i 8 weeks Thursday or 7? X

Oh right cos if the 4th is counted as week one the 11th week two 18th is week three etc then that would mean i was 8! So confusing x

Just been to doctors and basically was a waste of time. She felt my tummy, why? And then asked for a urine sample to test for pregnancy, why? I have to ring Friday for results will it just be negative or positive or will they measure hcg levels?

They feel your tummy to make sure ur no further than 12 weeks! In my docs she didn't do a test I just told her my hpt came back positive and they gave me folic acid and calcium then gave my number to midwife to ring and arrange the booking app! Otter docs may be different! Congratulations xxx
