My LO is 4 weeks on Wednesday and is starting to have quite a bit of awake time but I don't know what's normal? When he's awake he's quite grizzly so I don't know what I should do with him when he's awake? Where does your LO sleep during the day.? I seem to be slot when he sleeps so it's usually him asleep in the pram or car seat but this morning he fed at 6.15 and I put him back in his crib and he woke at 8 and has just fed again and is now asleep on me, where should I put him so I can get on with housework? In his bouncy chair? What do I do with him when he is awake and not feeding? Thanks for your advice!

for my LO I have a bouncer, a swing, a playgym. Sometimes I put him under the playgym if I need to do something but he wont stay long so I tend to put him more in his swing. The swings are a godsend as baby falls asleep in it aswell so you get time to do something.
My LO was a bit like yours waking up and spending a lot of time awake but Ive realised now he wasnt sleeping enough which made him more grumpy. You could always put him in his chair in the room you are in so he can watch you move around and hear you still.
My LO sleeps in his swing or carrycot in the day in the living room with me. I try to make a difference between night and day so he is only upstairs in the night and downstairs in the day.

My LO slept in her carrycot in whatever room I was in when she was 4 weeks. Like another poster, I now realise she was more tired than I thought and I should've been helping her to sleep more often! When she was awake she was in her bouncer, on her playmat or on my lap having a chat or singsong.
