I've done another post about my current napping hell situation but i'm just curious how much other babies sleep at around this age. 1 nap or 2? length?

thanks for any info x

Sebastian is almost ten months and was sleeping 90 mins twice a day, but its all going a bit wrong at the moment lol. It's like he needs one and a half naps lol.

His day normally looks something like this:

6.30am - Wake
8am - Nap for 30-90 mins (only he knows how long for) :haha:
12pm - Nap for 40-90 mins
3.30pm - Nap for 30-40 mins
6pm - Bed

It's not always easy to get him to nap though. He is going through the same leap as your LO which ends around 46 weeks and sometimes I have to fight him for up to an hour even though he is obviously tired. He keeps sitting/standing up in his cot and just randomly yelling.

katies day is roughly:

7:30 wake up
9-9:30 nap for about an hour
1:30 nap for about and hour
7ish bedtime

sometimes she only has 1 nap, sometimes she has 3 naps and goes to bed abit later, other days (like yesterday) she goes to bed at 6. i just go by her signs, if shes not looking tired at 9:30 ill leave her to play etc, sometimes she doesnt nap until 11:30 and the 3:30. my advice is relax, dont stress about gettin your LO to nap at set times etc just follow there lead :) xx

Stanley has no regular set nap times and can between 2 - 5 hours in a day! He only sleeps 9 - 10 hours at night (which suits us!) so needs the extra sleep in the day. He has very clear tired signs and normally climbs up onto a lap to get to sleep - with his dummy - before being put in his cot. Or he'll sleep in the car or pushchair. It makes sense that he is more tired some days than others as our days can be really busy or really lazy!

That is exactly the same as my little girl's times for naps.

When Callum was 10 months he'd tend to have a couple of hours after dinner, it used to be about half 12 til half 2 but some days he'd have longer. Nowadays its about 1 and a half hours after dinner. When he was younger he had two naps but he dropped his half four nap around 8 months xx

In the last few weeks, Fin has been roughly:

7.30am / 8.00am = wake
10.30am - 12.30pm (2 hrs) = nap
3.30pm - 4.30pm (1 hr) = nap
7.30pm / 8.00pm - sleep

He only had 1 hour nap tho this morning and refused to sleep in the afternoon so it doesn't always follow that pattern!

My LO is coming up for 11 months and has a morning nap of about 30 mins and then an hour in the afternoon if I'm lucky! He's normally awake for around 3 / 3.5 hours before needing a nap so if he wakes up at 7, his morning nap would be around 10am and his afternoon nap would be at about 1.30pm / 2pm.

at 10 months lo had 2 naps a day at anywhere between 2-4 hour naps a day :flower:

At 10 months old Frankie would wake between 7am and 8am, nap at about 9:30am for 40 mins, then have a nap of 1.5-2 hours at about 3pm. He is pretty similar now, just that his morning nap has pushed back to about 10:30am.
