How much does your 5-6 month old sleep?

How much does your LO sleep during the night?
And how much does your LO nap?

Aleena used to nap every about 3 hours (total) a day and sleep about 10 hours at night.
Now she'll only nap 3 times a day for 30 mins (she's tired but she fights her naps badly right now, ww26) , so 1.5 hour, and sleep 12 hours at night.

I read that around 6 months your baby needs 11 hours nighttime sleep and 3 1/4 hours in naps during the day.. so 14 1/4 hours total in 24 hours.

Aleena sleeps 13.5 hours a day so I guess that's close enough to it!

My LO is all over the place right now. Her night sleep is OK - she gets about 12 hours but not in one go, usually wakes at least once or twice for a feed (last week she woke up 9 times one night but I think that was because she had a cold and couldn't breathe through her nose properly). Her daytime naps though are terrible - she has three most days but I'm lucky if they're more than 20minutes. So I guess she gets about 13hours in total.

She hits 26weeks on the WW timeline tomorrow so I'm hoping that in the next week or so things might get a bit better - she always sleeps badly during the wonder week periods.

oh yes the long day naps are a thing of the past now, x3 30mins naps per day, sometimes can squeeze another nap in before bed but then will sleep 11 hours 7-6 and the 7-8 so I guess it all evens out. Although has been waking up a few times in the night since weaning a few weeks ago and is fighting naps as well during the day. I thought it got easier at 6 mnths and had avoided the 4mnth sleep regression! LO slept his best between 3-5mnths!

Aaron sleeps 10-12hrs at night without waking at all. He has a 30-45min nap in the morning, a 2-3hr nap in the afternoon and another 30-45min nap in the evening.

At the moment she sleeps about 10-11 hours a night (usually feeds a couple (or more, sob!) times though) and then about 2-3 hours during the day. If I lie down with her she'll have good long naps but if I don't then they're all really short. She gets around 12.5-13.5 most days it seems.

my LO sleeps 10-11 hours straight at night and her naps have been random and sporatic she usually has a nice morning nap at about 1-2 hours long and then she will either take 2 30min naps in the afternoon or evening or she will take another 2 hour nap in the afternoon. just depends on what she feels like so in totals she gets anywhere from 13-14 hours out of 24.
