Sarahjayne you got penalised by your insurance for 3 points? Thats harsh, most inurance companies dont charge extra for the first 3, normaly it only goes up if you go over the 3.

My husband also has 3 points for overtaking on double white lines and that has made his insurance bump up by about £20 a month x
