    Hay ladies,

This is my first baby. How do you go about claiming for the child benefit? Is everyone entitled to it - even if your husband works full time or does it go on how much you both earn etc.

    Im really confused about everything.

    thanks xx

The child benefit claim form comes with your bounty pack which you get on the day you leave hospital with your new baby hun.

£13 so they are assuming then that you have 2nd hand stuff which will see you through upto the value of £7 bascally! thats stupid! what if you have a boy and a girl and cant use much of the stuff you already have! lol!

Ah well! its better than nothing and it does help to get clothes and nappies and stuff :)
