Hi ladies a lovely topic of conversation i know, but just wondering how often ur LOs poos since u have started weaning, LO is 6 moths old and is now on 3 meals a day with her bottles.
She has been really constipated the past while so no she has a little water (which shes not keen on) everyday and it seems to have helped, but can still go 2-3 days with no poo....
What i am wondering is should i expect her to go less or more now she is on food, or is every baby different ? I have tried all different food to reduce the constipation but nothing seems to make a different just appears to b
be food in general ....

Any advice wuld be great thanks xxx

Liam is just a little younger than Hannah and sometimes he goes 1-2 a day then he'll skip a day and then go twice a day the next day. It varies, I guess on what he has eaten.

Lately I haven't been giving him many apple purees and it has been a bit firmer.

Have you tried some prunes or apples? I give Liam prune puree when he is constipated.

I would say twice a day around 6/7 months when Anna was starting weaning and only on 1 or 2 meals a day.

I was rare she would go a day without pooing!!

Anna never took any water either - the odd sip here and there - she was still taking about 21oz milk.

From 9 months she was having 3 meals a day and can poo 2-4 times a day:flower:

Same here really. LO is having 3 meals a day and is having about 4 poos a day!!! Too much poo for my liking! x

Bun poos about 2-3x/day and has for the last few months!

At 6 months it was wayyyyy more, but he had a problem with dairy we didn't know about at the time! xx

9am and 5pm - without fail! You could set your watch by Gaby's bowel movements! :haha:

She is also a terrible water drinker and rarely has anything other than a sip or 2 a day. She eats a lot of veg though, cucumber is her favourite so maybe that keeps her regular!

Jess is nearly 5 months and is on 2 meals a day now and she can go up to 3 times a day (shes on comfort milk though)
