How often for appointments?

I'm just curious to see how often you have contact or appointments with doctors, midwifes etc?

I'm 33+4 and my appointments seem to have dwindled out!! I have GD and I thought I'd have been seeing someone more frequently as they have made such a song and dance about it!! I haven't seen the diabetic clinic for 2 weeks, It's been 3 week since I saw the midwife and can't see her now till Monday and it's usually a 2 week wait to get a Drs appointment is this normal or not?

I think everyone is different but I would get in touch with the MW's and find out how often you should have them x

I spoke to midwife today when she made my appointment for Monday, I asked if I could pop in sooner as I haven't seen one for a while but she didn't seem too worried by it!!

Make sure to bring it up on Monday, I know when you see consultants your regular MW appointments go out the window. I haven't had a proper MW appointment since 16 weeks however I have been seeing a consultant once/twice every 2 weeks since 22 weeks x

I see my midwife every 3 weeks and my consultant every few weeks (it depends how the last visit has gone). I think after my 34 week appointment my midwife visits go to every 2 weeks.

I'm in Ontario and they started out at once a month, increased to once every 2 weeks sometime in second tri, now since about 34/36 weeks (can't remember) they've been once a week.
