How pregnant am I?

Hi everyone. I am seriously confused about how to figure out how far along I am. I just don't understand counting the start of my pregnancy as the last day of my menstrual cycle..... How are you ladies figuring how far along you are?

I think its meant to be however many weeks from the 'first' day from your last menstrual period.

If you google due date calculator and enter the FIRST day of your last period then it will tell you when you are due hun. x

You go from the 1st day of last period. Mine was June 26th, so I am 12+1 today. Go online and find a due date calculater. That is the easiest way to figure out how far along you are.

Doctors date your pregnancy from the first day of your last period as this is when the cycle of pregnancy starts, its just that most months the egg doesnt get fertilised so ends in a period.

Because many women don't know exactly when they ovulate doctors have just tacked on the extra two weeks to round up to the 40 weeks of pregnancy. If you really want to know how far along you are you need to know when you ovulated. For instance I am 10+6 according to the first day of my last period July 5th. However, I have only actually been pregnant for 8+6 weeks because I know I ovulate on the 14th day of my cycle. Hope this helps. You can search for a pregnancy calculator and input you dates and it will come up with your due date and how far along you are.

sorry for the stupid questions... What is 10+6, what are the two numbers?

The first day of my last period was Aug 8th.
I ovulated Aug 24th.

Those numbers mean,10 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Assuming you have a 28 day cycle, you r 6 weeks pregnant and Due May 14th. I googled a due date calculator and put in the first day of your last period.

I have pcos so I never really kept any dates...so I am not really sure the only way they told me I was 5 weeks and 4 days is due to sac measurements...so i really dont have a due date or nothing like that.
