How soon does ovulation happen after MC

I scrolled around a bit and didn't see this posted so sorry if I over looked a thread that already has asked this.

I miscarried at 11.5 weeks, heartbeat stopped at 8w2d...miscarriage took a while to complete fully....total bleed time was 2 weeks. The last day I spotted was Monday (4 days ago) major bleed via miscarriage was almost 2 weeks ago....I've had ovulation pain today (very distinct). DH and I DTD for the first time in two months two nights ago and I'm pretty sure it's on deck for tonight as I'm really horny again

Is it possible that I'm ovulating again so soon?? We were told to wait 2-3 months before trying again but we don't have any condoms on hand and I'm not ~trying~ to get pregnant, but not avoiding either. Should I be taking more steps to avoid pregnancy at this point?

I got af without ov at 4 weeks post mc when I was almost bfn. 16 days later I ovulated, which was a little later than a normal cycle, af came slightly late too as I had a chemical. I'm now on a completely normal cycle, just ovulated. It will be 10 weeks on Monday since the baby was taken out x

I'm pretty sure I ovulated 14 days after my mc and I got my first af two weeks after, which is exactly how my normal cycles are. Best of luck! Xx

I havent taken a hpt since finding out about the miscarriage. Ive had a lot of doctor visits and blood draws so I guess I could call for those numbers. We were told to wait 2 months, I lost a lot of blood during my miscarriage, am anemic right now and trying to get my iron levels back up.

I guess I'm a little worried that we accidentally just had perfect timing as my ovulation pain is usually very distinct and I just had it. ..1 day after dtd and before. I wasnt really paying attention to how many days past the miscarriage we were when we dtd.

I would love to have a baby again so soon, but am just worried if it were to be so soon...especially against dr orders

Sounds like your numbers may be down then if they've stopped doing the bloods.
I think if its meant to be, then it's meant to be! I guess you'll have to see what happens! Good luck!
