How to work out take home pay?

Is there any easy way to work out your take home pay after tax and ni contributions?

I'm trying to convince my other half that I don't have to go back to work full time after christmas so need some numbers to put under his nose!

Not much if you're a VN Sorry I don't have a more sensible answer! I used my old pay slips to work out my net pay though.

I use the Take Home Salary Calculator. just google it and it will be the first thing to come up. There are various tools on there. xx

Ha ha, that's very true

I've got my old payslips but I'm trying to work out if we can afford for me to got back for 24 or 30 hrs a week instead of 40 but its not looking good
