I always carried DD high and went 8 days over, now with DS I'm carrying much lower. Could this mean I might deliver earlier this time? What have you lovely ladies experienced? :flower:

I carried very low and went 8 days over (probably would've been more as I was induced).

I was very very late with all of mine, and carried lowish I guess?

This was at 35 weeks with baby number 4

I carried low with both - DS1 arrived at 40+1, and DS2 arrived at 37w

No1 very low - head was engaged 32 weeks - went 8 days over induced.
no2 - high, head never engaged, induced at 40 + 4 to bleeding
no3 - baby breech, waters broke 30 weeks, baby flipped round and just sat on brim, induced at 36 weeks, head never engaged lol x

I carried callum high and gave birth at 37.5 weeks. Maisie I went a week over and carried her a bit lower xx

It's common to carry your second baby lower because your abdominal muscles got stretched the first time and aren't as strong as they once were.

Dd1 carried very high. Born very quickly at 37+4

Dd2 carried low, though she never engaged. Went into labour at 36+4 and because she wasn't engaged managed to flip herself from head down to footling breech during labour.

I think I carried high-ish and she was born 11 days early.

Carried low with DS - went into labour 40+3 he was born 40+5

I wasn't overly low or high with mine, sort of in the middle but went into labour at 40 + 0 and 39 + 3.

when pregnant i was told im carrying 'mid way' a lovely middle bump.. whatever that is :s i thought i carried pretty low quite early on, not to the extreme where i felt i needed to hold my bump (like i did near the end lol)
i did carry low by about 25 weeks, and i was 2 weeks early (by due dates)
