Chris was moving his car before I was stood on the doorstep waiting for him and he started pointing at something a bit further down the canal (I couldn't see) but assumed it was someone waiting to park outside our house or WORSE a traffic warden! (TBH I just ignored him)
Anyways he parked and got out the car and said he'd just seen someone pushing their pram down the canal and the next thing the pram (with baby) was in the canal! He said the mum jumped in after it and then a lad jumped in and passed the pram & baby out!
I thought he was having a laugh so walked to the end of the path and could see a splash marks and little wheel tracks! Whoever it was must have been taken in to the nearby pub to get sorted etc!
Just made me wonder how the hell it happened, the path is fine on that part of the canal and pretty wide too?
The poor baby, surely nobody can be that clumsy unless she had let go of the pram and it had rolled?
