Lol!!

I dropped my son off at school this morning and the teacher told me that he was going to get a certificate in assembly (so proud :cloud9:) if I wanted to stay and see him get it.
So I rang home FIVE times in the space of 15 mins to let DH know where I was...did he answer? NO! I was a bit mad at him thinking what if I was in labour or had an accident etc, anyway went into the school hall and switched phone off as I didn't want it going off in the middle of assembly. Of course then DH realised I wasn't back from the school run at the usual time and tried ringing me :dohh:
He got in a panic, phoned my mum to see if I had called her and of course I hadn't so she got in a panic ... had my mum trying to ring, DH was out in the car driving around the streets looking for me

After assembly (was only 15 mins long) turned my phone back on to find loads of voicemail messages, I tried ringing DH again but still no answer as he was still out driving around looking for me! Rang my mum to let her know everything was ok. Started to walk back home and DH pulls up in the car behind me panic stricken dear of him, he was a bit angry with me for turning my phone off but I know that is only because he was so worried. :hugs:

What a dramatic way to start the day! :haha:

LOL!! These men do panic dont they! I rang OH to say his little girl was 3/5ths engaged on monday after antenatal he said does that mean this is it and you got to go hospital!! Also last night had some pretty painful BHs and was slightly breathing heavy through them yet again he said shall i take you to hospital lol!! ITs his 1st and my god hes gotta shock coming to him!!x

oh bless them, hopefully he'll keep his phone on him now, have a good laugh about it and maybe it will spurr baby on. x

hahaha bless them both!! my parents and boyfriend have both done similar.. isn't it silly the amount of drama a missed call can create?!

it's now become a running joke for my boyfriend to say "have your waters broken?" when he answers a call from me.. i don't think he'd believe me if i ever replied "yes" and was telling the truth! xx

Awwwww, lol! I think it's sweet that he was so worried though.

My sister keeps telling me that, if she were in my shoes, she'd play tricks on the family about labour! Like suddenly doubling over in pain, and then saying, "naaah, only joking!" :haha:

I have to admit I'm tempted, but I think I'd give my poor husband a heart attack!
