so simple as well!

Is that really new in UK?? They have had that for years. Even the cheap store brands do that now for NB sizes! Do yours have the indicator strips that change color when they are wet?

nope no indicator strips!! it's made over here lol. the only indicator strips ive ever seen were on the ones we used at the care home for peoples pads!!!

and yup it is a new thing in the UK. mad huh!

Oh wow! you have like techno nappies haha! My nappies are just plain white with a small pattern on them, nothing to help her umbilical cord or let us know when she's wet!! thats so cool!

Wow that is amazing! Will definitely be giving those a try.

I cant believe huggies would market 2 different types of products in the 2 countries. Seems stupid on their part. They could have added these to the market years ago and made money!

The daft thing is, I remember seeing nappy adverts YEARS ago (like, before I was even a teenager!) that had bits which changed colour when wet. Those were the days when they made separate nappies for boys and girls too

I never use Huggies (or pampers - can't stand the smell when they are wet - very chemically) but we did use store brand nappies when Daniel was a newborn.
Can't remember which store it was (think it may have been tesco) but they had a dip at the front of the nappy for the cord.

Oh wow those have been here for years to aswell ive never had a newborn diaper without the strip that changes color

It baffles me why you'd need an indicator to tell you when the nappy is wet?

And yes I remember boy/girl nappies eala, and I'm sure I used disposables with my son that had a fold down bit at the front?

I never really knew much about them beyond the adverts  I remember asking my Mum why boys and girls had different nappies, and she said it was because they wet in different places, so I suppose they had more padding in different areas or something?

we used to use the indicators on the pads for the residents to save wastage basically. nappies/pads can hold SO much and still be dry to the touch.
yet i know so many people who take a nappy off the minute they think their baby has weed.

I think it's pointless tbh

Just fold the nappy over lol bet they have added £ even though there using less

I dont see the point in them tbh, the cord is only on for a matter of days and how hard is it to fold it down

We used these and I thought they were great. I know a lot may think they are a gimmick but as a first time mummy who was getting to grips with changing nappies I thought they just made changetimes easier as I was so afraid of knocking her cord off and it was one less thing for me to worry about.

I'm not sure i would like them or not, when Vinnie was newborn i really worried about the cord stump and liked to tuck it away safely in his nappy knowing i wouldnt catch it or pull it accidently x

We bought these a few weeks back not realising. Don't think there's much point to them tbh

Though since I switched to pampers I have realised how much I don't like huggies! Won't be buying theirs again.
