Hunger pains a symptom?

I keep getting these awful pains in what feels like my back and ribs and it hurts with each breath and movement. The really odd part is that it feels better when I eat? I thought I needed a chiropractor appt but sure enough eating gets rid of it. I remember getting sick from not eating with my boys but not pains like this

I have heard of increased hunger being a symptom. That said, that sounds more like when I get ulcers!
