I think it is in tri 2, someone has a thread about it and a youtbe video where she breathes the baby out -she looks like she could fall asleep during labour!

im in the middle of the book at the moment, I cant afford the classes and plan to follow the techniques and p massage its all worth a go x

Hi Purplesocks,

My OH felt a bit starnge during classes as he doesn't really 'do' alternative health etc. We giggled a bit during some of the class relaxation stuff. I did most of the work anf I DID have to put a rocket under him to practice with me at home (as it's his voice in labour that was to trigger my relaxed state)..... In short, we felt silly at 1st, but you do get into it and he was great during the birth.

I didn't practice with my OH as I didn't really think he'd handle labor all that well. I had him read on a couple of the massage techniques which I ended up hating. I just didn't want to be touched at all or any talking during contractions. I actually slapped out at my husband because he put his hand on my shoulder and at that moment it felt like he was holding me down.
