Hi Girls,

Just to let you all know i have been for my d & c today you know what i mean as they dont call it that do they and i am ok, Just feel like i am on my
period and abit at least i have closure now and on the road to recovery and looking forward to christmas now.

I would defo recommend the d & c's arnt that bad and are the quickest but each to there own i think.

I agree, i havent done it naturally but with the d&c it was over super quick and healed very quick.

you mentioned how your feeling physically, how about emtionally?

Hi Caroline. Good to hear how you are doing. I had my D&C on wednesday and I am up and about round the house and the bleeding has stopped completely. I have stomach cramps but taking ibuprofen for that. I find emotionally, I have good days and bad days. Two friends visited me separately yesterday and commented on how well I was doing. I think my husband thought I was putting on a brave face, and then I got upset as I don't want people to think I'm over it - I'm not. Consequently I feel crap today and even worse when I went to the GP this morning.

Anyway - may I ask, did they take your baby away for tests in histology? They thought I miscarried at 5-6 weeks from the scan, but actually it was 8 weeks when they removed the baby. I was very upset over this as it meant I carried the baby for longer...My doctor thinks if the baby is that little bit older they do run tests to see what went wrong. Big hugs to you - we're all going through this together x

Glad to see that you are doing ok, i too agree with you on the d n c, i was really nervous about having mine done, but it was quick and simple. i too am now on the road to recovery, were just going to enjoy xmas together and see what happens in the new year.

Yes i said they could take it away for testing but my baby was only 5 weeks old hun. I feel fine havent bleed today which is good and not getting that much pain either which is good.

Hopefully i am going back to work monday am quite looking forward to going back to been me again. I may have bad days but at the minute i am having a good day so am happy!!
