Ahhhh YAY me too I have been thinking about this the past few days. I cannot wait to have a nice cold whiskey and coke in the sun with the BBQ cranking. Summers on its way here and its daylight savings on Saturday night. YUS more sun in the afternoon!

As bad as this sounds too, I can't wait to have a smoke. I don't smoke regularly but had a few if out with friends. I won't be out with friends for a loooong time - possibly after christmas - but i can hang on until then

Me too! I usually love cider in the summer but havent had anything, not a drop! So looking forward to a nice cold glass of something alcoholic once baby is here. That plus some pate on toast.... yummmmmmmy!x

BTW, for the pear cider lovers, Kopparburg does an alcohol free version that's actually really nice!

I really want a nice cold Gin & Tonic, a frozen margarita or a lovely chilled glass of pinot grigio. Aaaagh can't wait.

I'm sooooo looking forward to this year when peanut is here for Christmas and we've got our own lil family unit .. If I breastfeed I'll still be having the cheeky one I wasn't a big drinker when before being pregnant and I know you can't drink and bf, but the glass or glass and half of white wine is going to be welcomed with open arms

OMG I cannot wait!!! I would LOVEEE a glass of red wine along with a cigarette!!! HHMMMMM....I use to drink a whole bottle and be fine, but I have a feeling after not drinking a drop of alcohol for 9 months, I'll be buzzed with 1 glass hahahaha- My hubby also bought a johnny walker black label to celebrate our son's birth! cant wait for some of that either!!

Agggh! I'm so glad I'm not the only one.....I'm dying for a pint or two of beer! I'll be BFing too but one of my friends keeps saying "A good strong porter is good for your milk production". Hmmmmm

Also, I heard that you can get test strips that will detect alcohol in breast milk. Nice to have reassurance that you're OK to nurse after enjoying a few celebratory drinks and you've waited long enough for it to clear your system. I think you can get them at a regular pharmacy/drugstore (Walgreens or CVS or RiteAid in the USA?)
