So a few days ago my LO changed positions, yet again. She has been transverse forever really... which is fine... I can deal with the added pressure on the sides!~ but recently, she turned so that her head is up in right side of my ribcage (so it feels bruised) and her feet are down below... where she has been tap dancing on my bladder off and on all day for 3 days straight!!! UGH. It's SO uncomfortable... I don't mind the occasional twinge of pain... but this is starting to become a bit much.

I finally told her last night she better knock if off or else she's grounded when she comes out! LOL. yea... like that does any good ;)

Just hoping she turns again soon!!!! I'd prefer the rib kicks to the bladder kicks!

Peanut did the same with me. Fine for a few weeks with their feet jabbing my sides but then they turned and now it's fav pasttime is playing trampoline with my bladder and makes me feel like I need to empty every 2 seconds, makes it worse when I'm walking around or stood up and it feels like my bladder is 100x as full and peanut is going to boot me that hard I'll wee myself.. Makes it worse the 'less' i think about it the more I notice it if that makes sense! :|

Yea, she's been in this position before too... but weeks ago she was smaller so she didn't kick AS hard... now it makes me cringe! And when I'm standing, I have to cross my legs for fear I'll pee my pants! Ugh. LOL.

Ah, the joys! hehe

Me too. I have sympathy. Hope our babes turn sooner rather than later x

My LO is exactly the same. she keeps moving positions.
Shes been transverse lie for weeks, and occasionally wriggled her head round near my ribcage with her feet on my bladder.. which is soo painful, then she'll move down so her head is digging into the right hand side of my hip and her feet are kicking my rib-cage, so both rib-cages are in constant pain, but about 4 days ago she moved head down, with her feet kicking up towards my diaphragm and her head deep into my pelvis, but i think she found this uncomfortable, as i felt her wriggle around again last night, but this time it feels like her head is on my left hand side. Shes definitely not head down anymore. Although its the most painful when shes in this position, i just wish she'd stay head down so i can stop worrying. :S xxx

Sending you good ju ju that she'll move soon! My LO may never be anything but transverse- since I have placenta previa she has less room up/down- so she really likes side to side... which, is pretty common for my condition. Chances are, I'll just have to live with bruised ribs or punched bladder till she comes out!!! The bladder is THE worst though- that sharp twinge of pain is no fun! But all for the greater good... :)

Well worth it once our LO's arrive! :flower:

my midwife said the fact that i have a short torso, and my baby seems to be big with long legs, that she might be much more comfortable stretching across my tummy rather than scrunched up head down.. which is looking to be the case. I do hate the constant weeing!!
I hate that i feel like im going to burst and run to the loo, and literally squeeze out a few drops! and thats it!!! Its sooo frustrating!
Hope things progress well for you :flower:

Back at ya ... I think for me personally, the bathroom breaks and bladder kicks are for sure the most irritating. lol. I've gotten used to the loo runs... but ouch, those bladder kicks!!! All well worth it though ;)

My LO was always heads up feet down till last week. She turned herself over the course of a few days and I have to say getting kicked in the liver and stomach is no fun. She's made me throw up twice from her kicking my stomach right after eating. I know her being heads down is a good thing now but I wouldn't have minded if she waited 3-4 more weeks to do it.

She was horizontal mid-turn for about 12 hours and that was miserable! I'm super short too 5'2" so I'm hoping she doesn't decide to go back to horizontal for the room....felt like my tummy was going to burst when she was that way!

Hope your feeling better soon!!! I think my LO has finally calmed down- lol... but I'm sure there are more positions to come!!!! Especially as room get's more and more limited.

Thankfully it's all temporary and well worth the end result :hugs:

I have been VERY uncomfortable for the past two days. Little guy is in transverse position and I feel a hard body part (doc said probally his butt) right to the left of by belly button but then his entire upper body is jammed into my right side. My left side literaly looks and feels empty.

I am also feeling this "pushing" pressure very low on my right. As if he's stretching an arm or has an elbow jammed into my lower abdomen. It is sooo uncomfortable. When I am sitting it literaly feels like the baby is on my lap.

I try to rub my belly and give a slight push to move him over, and he does move, but he just ends up right back in the same spot after a few minutes.

I have the same issue... and my LO has been up in my right rib for a few days now... it feels bruised?!?! At night when I'm off work I try to lay on my left side more- that seems to help...

I can only imagine as baby grows how much more pressure we'll feel? Hope your LO turns soon... mine may not due to my previa? She is going to stay where she has the most room... only 3wks to go though! hehe

I swear mine is pushing off the back of me with his feet and his butt is sticking out of my abdomen...is he trying to climb me, like I'm some kind of wall and he's Spiderman?? Talk about pressure...

Might have to keep a close eye on LO when he is big enough to climb things around the house then... may just have a spidy on your hands ;)

Hope he changes positions soon... :hugs:
