Today I am 17w5d. I DO NOT look pregnant and can easily walk by every single person I know and they would look at me like I am crazy when I tell them I am 17 weeks. I would have to bring out my ultrasound pictures saved on my phone to make them believe me. My fiancé is so anxious to see my tummy grow bigger. He is worried that the baby is growing slow, but I hardly ever show with any of my pregnancies until the 6th month or so. All of my girl friends are calling me "lucky" that I am not big, but I want to show. I have already been feeling kicks from the outside of my tummy. I still get sick every other day.

Sometimes it makes me sad that I am not showing yet, but other times I actually feel lucky that I can still wear that tight pencil skirt out to a birthday dinner without looking pregnant. How long did it take for you to finally show a bump? I have no bump whatsoever!!!! Dr said baby is growing fine. I feel the painful kicks at my hips so I assume the baby is not that small! I never really showed with any of my previous pregnancies and my son who was 7 months and preterm was 5lbs and 21inches!!!!

Anywho...just ranting a bit. Check out the awesome ultrasound shot my dr caught for me of my baby sucking his/her thumb (Avatar)!!!! I've always wanted one and didn't think I could get one!

I'm not quite where you are yet, but I know it's extremely common for women to not show until 20 weeks or later, and since you didn't really show with previous pregnancies, I would assume it's just the way your body carries a pregnancy. I personally hope I fall into this category so I can wear normal clothes for longer and continue to do everything as I do it now. Consider yourself lucky!!
