Good morning Ladies

I need some help..

Yesterday as i was coming up my stairs my foot slipped and i feel forward, i managed to hit my hand more than anything else but im really scared that i could lose the baby now.

:nope::nope::nope: Dont want that to happen but im totally paranoid now.

Can anyone help?

Hi

If your worried phone your Early Pregnancy UNit for advice.

Your baby is really well protected and it takes a lot to dislodge it. So dont worry too much but do ring up. They will probabably scan you. I had a scan last Friday and the sonographer was pumping my tummy to get the baby to move round. When I commented she said it was fine it was too well protected to damage or do any harm.

Ring your midwife or doctors hun because epu don't normally do self referrals. but baby is very snug in there x

I phoned up my maternity unit and explained what happened. They asked all bout my pains etc and said that the sonographer wasnt in today and she would need to check otherwise i would have to phone Early Preganncy Unit. She said to come tomorrow at 420 so i think they will give me a scan, make sure everything ok.

Really scared. Pains are really sore. x

could they not just be growing/stretching pains hun but because you had the fall they are panicking you more? :hugs:

Don't worry, Same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with my eldest son, and I fall really hard on the floor but hit my hand first, I went to check with scan the very next day and every thing was just fine..

Im glad to read u will get a scan! it will put ur mind at rest! Theres a lot to protect the wee baby so try not to worry!

Sorry you are in pain and worried, but honestly, our muscles start stretching out and it's really easy to pull abdominal muscles than it was before, I'm sure baby is fine, try not worry. Good luck on your scan tomorrow.

:hugs: Baby is pretty well protected. Glad you are getting a scan to put your mind at ease!

Hi ladies,

I have had cramps pretty much sine BFP but this was AGONY! was double over most of night!

Went to hospital yesterday and they checked me over! Baby is fine! No bruising or bleeding internal :)

Thank you all for trying to make me see baba is very well protected

What i find strange is that she found the baby near my right hip bone, but all pain including cramps, ovulation etc have all been left! WEIRD!!!

Hi hun
I did the same thing last week on holiday. I slipped out of the shower and went flying backwards and fell hard on my side/back on the floor. I laid down for a couple of hours but was so upset thinking i had hurt myself. I came back from holiday yesterday and went to the EPU today. Everything was fine. I smacked myself sooo hard and it was fine. I think everything is fine sweetie but if you are concerned call the EPU at your local hospital xx

oh good news x

So glad everything is fine. :)

It's probably just muscles and internal organs adjustments. My mom fell down a bunch of steps on a mountain in first trimester with my bro, and down a whole flight of stairs in 3rd tri with me. I like to reenact our "clinging on for dear life" for her every once in a while as a joke. :)
