Yeah I can see why they did it. I mean even on the shelves where the alcohol free is stacked one of those "if you look under 25" signs.

Like I say, I didn't mind but I did chuckle to myself after finding it strange.

More please to actually LOOK under 25 (I'm 24) when the last time I bought booze in Tesco at the self checkout (before baby!) the attendant clicked the button that said: "Customer is CLEARLY over 25".....ehhhh WHAT??? lol

Seems a bit silly but ahh well a laws a law! One thing I can't get my head around though is why you have to look over 25 when the legal age is 18 to buy alchohol :S

I did get I'd'ed for buying a 12 dvd a year ago...I was 20 and rather offended lol!

bit weird though how you have to be IDed for alcohol free booze, yet you don't have to be IDed for Shandy :-/

On my receipt when I bought a PG film it said the cashier confirmed I was over 16 (i think)
