Dylan crawled over to the sofa, pulled himself up to get the remote control, but he couldn't reach it. I went into the kitchen and then seconds later I look in to check on him and he had pushed a box (that he uses as a walker as his walker is too big for him) over to the sofa, stood on it and climbed onto the sofa and was sat there 'eating' the remote control.

Nothing is safe!

I'm impressed! Our LO's are only a few days apart and Wyn is still yet to work out how to sit up or crawl! She's just got the knack of rolling but still doesn't seem that interested, she just likes to sit up and play. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you keeping the house baby safe!

He didn't sit up for ages as he discovered rolling and therefore didn't see the point. I think all babies do stuff at different times becuase they do what they enjoy the most. Your LO is prob very happy sat still playing with stuff which may in turn mean that she has a better attention span later in life whereas Dylan seems to think that he is Indiana Jones and must explore everywhere.

Your LO sounds VERY much like mine!! A right little pickle!!

Although it is useful that I still find her exactly where I left her - It's generally her making a really annoying whiny noise because she's got herself laid down and wants me to pick her up again to sitting!

I like the idea of Dylan in a little indiana Jones hat :haha:

Get her a play nest.

Dylan had this one

https://www.discovermetoys.co.uk/social/by-brand/galt/galt-playnest-gym-farm-0-months-/prod_230.html

It helped him to get the strength to stay sat up and also made him want to move as he wanted to reach the dangling bits.

Dylan sounds very much like Kaiden. I call him baby grylls (as in bear grylls survivor type guy on tele). He climbs everything. He can now climb on the sofa without the assistance of his toy box or stepping on the dog! He would put ANYTHING in his mouth to eat it too. We had to get him a new highchair as well because the one we had he kept managing to wriggle out the harness & stand up in it. He is constantly on the go!

She's got a sort of play nest, her play mat has arches with dangle stuff, she likes to sit on it, pour the tubs of her blocks and toys until she has buried her legs and then lean/fall over in them and call for me to right her back to sitting. Maybe I should take her to a ball park?

I try to ignore her calls sometimes but she can be rather insistent! I may not have an adventurer I've got a black mailer!

 I'm quite certain Gabriel is going to be a handful as soon as he can manage it. He's already figured out how to roll over to the stack of xbox games, so that he can toss them all over the floor.

Bun isn't crawling yet, but I can't leave him alone or he will scoot over to whatever interests him - which is almost never a toy. So far he loves cell phones, all remotes, wires or cords, the laptop and the ps3. Surrounded with colourful fun toys and he just wants to chew the remote! He also loves to "walk" places so I am constantly walking him around. My back is taking a beating lol!! xx
