I have a private scan booked tomorrow and I'm a bit scared!

Its booked for 12.30 tomorrow and I'm starting to get scared. What if they dont find a heartbeat? As its a private scan I'm not even sure what happens if they dont find a heartbeat, do I have to pay again for another scan in a weeks time
There has been some lovely stories on here lately of scans and some terribly sad ones too!
I even dreamed about my scan last night (dreamed I was pg with twins!) I just want to know everything is ok. To make it worse I will be going on his own as OH can't get out of work after all and we havent told anyone else so if all isnt rosy then I will be all alone!
I think without you girls to talk to about it I would have been certified by now! xxxx

It is so natural to be worried, I was petrified the other day when i had my 12 week, I was thinking so many bad things, and then worrying my nerves were bad for the baby!
Hoping everything goes fab and you have some little beany pics to show oh

To be honest I'm scared stiff and wish that OH could be with me in case something isnt right, and I'm terrified they won't find a heartbeat! xxxx

Im sure everything will be fine, but this time next Thursday I'll be in the same boat as you as I have my first scan next Friday. Im already a ball of emotions over it!!

Funny you should say that about twins, I had a similar dream last night. The colour drained right out of DH when I told him....Priceless

Id love twins as I want 4 kids but DH wont budge from 3. Still we both have about a 25% chance

Aww thank you Quaizer! Oh was less than amused when I said about my dream (his mum was a twin) I wouldnt mind twins but I think as I've had no MS or anything its not likely (I'm sure youre supposed to get very strong sypmtoms with twins)
Is yours a private scan too or are they doing it on the NHS because of your lupus?
I can't really afford the scan at the moment but then again I can't not do it because I will only worry more if you know what I mean! xxxx

Its on the NHS, I'll have loads of blods taken every couple of weeks aswell, so no change there lol!

Id be getting a private one aswell if I wasnt getting one yet, we all know how you feel, but I bet youll be good as gold hun! Got everything x'd for you, but you wont need it xx
