I HAVE to go baby shopping !!!!

I have most of the items given to me by my sister whos lo is 1, but i am sooo needing to go baby shopping, i think at this stage, not quite ready, but cant wait, i need something to fill my time and i need to go buy them little mittens and socks and snow suits, anybody else longing to go round the baby shops?

I'm the very same. I tend to spend a lot of time online looking at baby stuff!! I have been planning to hit the baby outlets as I don't think i can wait much longer!

I need to get shopping my my clothes first LOL... just packed most of my clothes into boxes, can't wear any of them.

As for baby stuff, I will get them in within the next few weeks. I've been warned by my friends who are already mothers, that I'd be too exhausted in the 3rd tri to do any shopping.

i get paid next week so, i am going shopping, told mother we are making a day of it baby shopping and lunch out, cant wait, then on thursday i will be also going to get my hair and nails done, they have grown like mad lol

good advice: SHOP NOW! i'm 32 weeks and i cannot believe how much stuff i still need because i decided to shop so late in the pregnancy. luckily i have enough little clothes. and i have the crib, changing table, swing, bouncer and carseat. but i have barely any diapers, barely any wipes, no grooming kit, no crib bedding. i still need a mattress pad, breastfeeding bottles for when i pump, nipple cream, nursing pads, nursing pillow, baby bathtub...agh the list goes on!! so i advise you girls shop now so you won't be like me and rushing around like a crazy person!

We said we wouldn't buy anything until after the anomaly scan and then we found a pair of trainers in the Adidad outlet near my folks. Super cute little trainers with monsters on the tongues. HAD to buy them!
We've decided we're not going to save money every month and then do all the shopping last minute. We're going to start getting things in every month with the money we were going to save. OH and I are starting to clear the soon to be nursery this weekend and get that decorated first and then we can start getting furniture.
I can't wait!!

i love baby shopping im pretty addicted tho.. i havent got much left to buy just a few outfits when hes born i dont wanna go out and get some cus ive been told he could be large so i dont wanna risk sizes bt part from that i have everything lol .. so im pretty jealous you still have to go, id love to go do it all again lmao x

i promise you, when you hit the 30's you won't feel like doing CRAP! so i suggest you get the big shopping out of the way now. that's how alot of girls i know were in the 3rd tri. we're all a bunch of lazy girls cause we're so big and uncomfy. it's not fun waddling around the store for hours trying to buy baby stuff!

I've got most of mine done now - just a changing mat and sheets/blankets to get really! I deliberately started fairly early for a few reasons - I'm on a limited budget, I already have 3 kids who are still expecting chrissie pressies lol and I'm sooo not staggering around the shops in December when I'm huge. It's bad enough shopping that time of year usually!

My mom is really superstitious so she won't "let" me go shopping yet. I could by stuff and just not tell her but then I'd feel guilty, so at this point (22 + 4), I've bought a book and an outfit :/ So I'll have to do a lot of shopping pretty late. Here, we have something called layaway, where you pay for something bit by bit, but the store keeps it til you're paid off. So after the baby showers, I'm gonna put stuff on layaway, so at least I've picked everything out and can just pick them up and bring them home before I have the baby.

I am well on my way so far I have got:

Travel system, moses basket, cotbed, sprung mattress, changing unit, all bottles/steriliser etc, changing bag, all matching nursery bedding, border etc, lots of clothes snow suit and bits.

well it is not as tho i dont have evrything for babs yet, i do, cos i got given most of stuff of sister, i just think not having a baby shop in this pregnancy has really gotten to me, (i know i sound sad) so sod it, even if he has items twice i am going to buy my little man some nice things...

he does have a brand new travel system, wow what great fun that was picking pram...

just LOVE IT.. lol
