Hi all,
I've replied to a couple of threads across the forums but don't know yet if I'm T1 or T2.
I discovered I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago after I decided that I was getting a bit podgy. The positive result came as a big shock, as I had no symptoms.
I moved to Canada on 1 May and my DH was here for 6 weeks before me, so I'm either 12 weeks or over 18 (and no, it's not the milkman's!).
I have to drive 300 miles tomorrow to the nearest big city for my dating scan because our local hospital can't fit me in for the best part of another 3 weeks. Boy, is Canada really BIG!
Hopefully, if I am as far on as I think I am (I can definitely feel LO flumping about) then I might get to find out if we're team pink or blue! (subject to DH wanting to know too). Fingers crossed that everything is OK. I can't help but worry a bit, it being my first baby at the age of 37.
I'd love to get to know you all a bit better. I'll keep you posted. And by the way, thanks for all the REALLY helpful stuff on here. :hugs:

if you feel flutters i would say you are def at least 18 weeks! When was your last period? If you are at 18 you are def tri 2 - you may be able to even find out what gender it is! Good luck and best wishes!!

To just find out at 12 or 18+ weeks? SWEET! So much less time spent waiting. Hahaha!!! Congratulations on your pregnancy!!! :)

Congrats! Where abouts do you guys live? I lived in Alberta for a few years, and my parents are still out there!

Well congratulations on the pregnancy!

I agree that if you can feel definite movement, you're likely at least 18 weeks! I sure hope everything is OK! Let us know what they tell you after the scan! At 18 weeks, they should definitely be able to tell you boy/girl, too

Wow congrats I found out I was pregnant at 10 weeks and thought that was late, like the others have said your most likely 18 weeks if you can feel him/her moving. They can tell the sex clearly by 16 weeks so if you are 18 you should be able to find out. Congrats to you and your husband on a wonderful surprise, good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Well, I had my dating scan yesterday and it was fabulous! I was in there for an hour and a half. Everything was measured and checked and it was really reassuring. The images were being observed remotely by a Consultant and there were no problems.
I'm 19 weeks and 4 days and courtesy of LO baring their little bottom with some style I can confirm without doubt that we are ...

EDD 19 December

Aw congrats. Welcome to second trimester. You are almost half way already. :D

Congrats on the surprise boy! :) So glad to hear that everything looks good with him, and it must be kind of exciting to think that you're already almost halfway there!

Congrats! Lucky you already 1/2way there:)

Congrats! How exciting to be halfway through and not even have to deal with all the uncertainty of 1st Tri!

Wow congrats to you and welcome to tri2 and team blue!!!

Congratulations indeed! How lucky are you nearly half way already lol! Good luck & enjoy your pregnancy x

That's great. Congratulations and welcome to BnB and the 2nd Tri :D

Congratulations!!

Welcome to team blue too!!

And well done you for just skipping the first 3 months that we all spend worrying over everything!! You are at the easy bit now!!!
