I am getting very stressed, can't think about anything else now apart from will I get AF.

This month has been a bit of a roller coaster ride, starting with late ovulation, with no normal symptoms, so I have been wondering if something different means good news, for over 2 weeks now! I am CD29 today, normally have a 25-26'ish day cycle, but am only 9DPO today, normally only get to 11-12DPO, but because of all the differences this month I am very hopefull. Normally I don't get too hopeful, although I am always sad for a day when AF arrives, but after that you just get on with it don't you? I know this month is going to hit a lot harder!

I have had no CM all month except a little these last 2 days, but I normally dry up 2 days before AF. The OPK was not as dark as the check line, but we can assume it was a pos because of the following temp rise. Have had some mild cramps, but not yesterday and today, more the end of last week. Also lots of heartburn, and a few other things, the thing is you watch these symptoms and get so excited and hopefull, but this month I really have got to hoping a lot.

I daren't test because I do not want to see the BFN as that means its all over, and I'd rather live in hope, but I can see that when AF arrives, I am going to be sooooo upset - even wine isn't going to fit it!

I just wondered if any one else is doing the same this month, - just being that bit more hopeful than usual!

You're most definitely not alone, I think we all get like this at some point

I was SO sure last month was our time, AF was 5 days late - turned out i just ovulated later than usual I was a total mess, even my OH was convinced I was pregnant.

I'm sure I'll be the same again this time next week

Oh hon - don't know what to say but that you are not alone! Can you distract yourself with ANYTHING? DVD, book, work, exercise, anything?

Wouldn't it be good to just sleep all the way through the 2ww - go to sleep after ov'ing, wake up and BFP!

Thanks for your thoughts, it helped just writing and I know we are all in the same boat!

I couldn't wait and tested last night, however I think I messed up because I had wee'd 1 hour before and then had a large glass of water - suffice it to say it was BFN! Anyway I am no further ahead, I still have the CM which is v strange at this time of my cycle as always bone dry by now and my temp still high, it normally dips 2 days before AF - but I am on DPO10 today, but i normally get AF on DPO11/12.

See on with the wait - I might test again tomorrow or sunday morning - I'll see if anything chages, but this time i will do it when I get up, so it is nice and concentrated !!!!

Fingers crossed for you. Every month I tell myself I'm not going to get my hopes up, but every month any little thing I think must be a sign I'm PG and AF arrives. AF arrived this month with a vengence!

A BFN doesn't mean its over, it just means you might be testing too early. Most people don't get positives until the day before their period is due.
I buy cheap ones online so I can test any time I want. I don't mind the BFNs, though the closer to my period the more I start to think about them.

I wish I could sleep through the 2ww! Esp since I've been spotting for 3 days before my period so I basically KNOW its over at 11dpo but have to wait and see for sure. Its been torture!

I bawled my eyes out that first night of spotting and can't get over the sadness until AF comes, then I shake it off and get excited for the next cycle. It should be here today or tomorrow so hopefully it will be over for me soon.
(its just wishful thinking to hope the spotting is implantation bleeding, its mostly brownish but gets red at times)
