So I have been thinking about the perfect way to tell my fella I am pregnant when I finally get my bfp!!

I contemplated posting it on facebook but then came up with this.

You know the site moonpig where you can make cards? Well I am going to makeone and post it home.

There will be a poem on it that reads

Mummy and Daddy were madly in love
and were planning the rest of there life
like a house and a car, a baby, a dog
and the day they'd be husband and wife

The car they bought first, the house was to follow
twenty twelve is when wedding bells chime
The dog is still wanted and as for me.......

(inside it will say)

....I'll see you in 9 months time.

I am going to replace some words with pictures.

mummy&daddy = A picture of me and DF
Love = a love heart
House = a picture of a house
car = a picture of our car
baby = a picture of a baby
dog = a pic of the dog we want
Husband&wife = a married couple
wedding bells = a picture of wedding bells
Me = a picture of a baby
And inside the card will be a picture of the positive test

When Greig reads in he wont read it as a poem, so I will tell him he's read it wrong and read it too him

I will post a pic when I have done it.

good plan!! on my first one i told my partner there was an important letter in bedroom for him and looked official i mumbled as he walked upstirs 'think its from hospital'

all i heard from down stairs was 'this is not a fuking letter'

and i wet myself laughing as he flew down the stairs to hug me with the words are u really?? lol

That's a great idea! With my first I peed on something like 5 tests and laid them out on the bed (which sounds gross but they were dry at the time, I swear!) and when he got home from work, told him there was something important for him to see in the bedroom. He pretty much figured what it was by the time he got there, lol!

I don't know what I'll do next time! But I love your idea!

Thats great you have an idea of what to do! So much better than posting on facebook. I always thought thats a little impersonal. It will be something you can put in the baby scrapbook too.

I dont know if anyone of you watch/heard of the Duggars (reality tv show) but one of the couples on the show found out they were pregnant last year. She took the test, closed the bathroom door, and made him go and check. So he got to tell her she was PG. I love the idea if I wasnt such a POASA!
