There seems to be so many threads on these but I am starting to pack mine (a little late lol) and have recently written a list of everything to go in just to make it that bit easier.

So here is my list:

Labour

· Socks
· Underwear (disposable/granny pants and bras) x 3/4
· Massage oil – option for pain relief
· Lip balm/Vaseline
· Water spray/hand held fan/cool cloth
· Heat pads for back
· Bikini top/spare tshirt (if going in water at any point)

Birth partners bag (mum and mark)

· Fresh t-shirts x2
· Clean underwear
· Socks
· Toiletries – toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, makeup (mum)

Toiletries bag (me)

· Mini shampoo
· Mini conditioner
· Mini shower gel
· Face wipes
· Anti bacterial wipes/gel
· Hair bands
· Hair brush/comb
· Curl spray
· Breast pads (pack)/cream
· Mini deodorant
· Pack of maternity pads

· Toothbrush/toothpaste

After labour

· Dark towels x2
· Clean, dark pyjama’s/nightdress x2

· Disposable pants/granny pants – max of 10
· Going home clothes
· Flip flops (shower)

Baby bag

· Car seat for getting home
· Vests – 3/4 newborn and 3/4 0-3
· Baby gros/sleepsuits - 3/4 newborn and 3/4 0-3
· Receiving blanket/shawl
· Nappies – max 10
· Cotton balls/baby wipes
· Nappy bags
· Hat
· Socks
· Booties
· Going home outfit
· Cardigan/coat for going home
· Carton of baby milk just in case x2/3
· Bibs/muslin squares
· Scratch mitts
· Sudocream
· Dummy (optional)

Extras

· Mobile phone and charger
· Money for pay phones/snacks etc.
· Snacks
· Juice
· Camera and spare batteries
· I pod and docks (if allowed)
· Own pillow
· Plastic bags for dirty clothes
· Book/magazine
· Journal to write down thoughts
· List with phone numbers on it

It seems like a lot written down, but all folded and into a holdall it doesn't seem to be.
Does this seem okay? Anything I'm missing/don't have enough of and likewise with anything I won't really need/have too much of?

Maybe a book or something for your support team to do when they aren't on duty... That's all that I can think of.
