I long to stand up straight after sex!!!!!!

Oh, how I long for the time when I can DTD and just stand up afterwards, rather than lying there for ages or putting my legs in the air!!!

Just thought I'd share that random thought!!!!

It really will feel weird!!!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! LMAO - I always have the urge to sneeze after DTD....now I am always trying to hold it!!

Do you all put your legs straight up or just a pillow under butt/hips and legs straight?

I tend to do a combination of pillow sometimes, and just legs bent lying very still at other times!

Had to swallow a cough earlier and it wasn't easy!!!!!

As soon as we have DTD, my OH goes "quick, get your legs up against the wall!"....because it's alot easier to keep the legs up for a while that way! So I end up having to swivel myself round, so my bottom end is where the pillows are...whilst trying to keep my hips up, and making sure nothing comes out. I'm sure I look like a gone wrong crab! Good job we can have a laugh eh!! hahaha.

And then he usually falls fast asleep within 2 mins and I'm left in that position staring at the ceiling.

It was easier in the warmer weather to lie there but it's quite cold today, so was cocooned in my duvet in a ''do not move'' position!!!

I did that in the past. I ended up with UTI.
My doctor lectured me that I was supposed to pee after sex to my urethra. So I usually lay down for 1-2 hours, pee, and then go back to bed and sleep.

I just prop my hips up on a pillow usually and mess around on my phone for a while...do you ladies that put your legs right up find there's less "gushing?" Sorry TMI!

I don't put my legs up but I lie with them bent and try not to move. I've fallen asleep a few times now not good for UTI's though. Trying to stay lying down for 30 minutes then up but not heading to pee for an hour. I'm hoping that's enough for the but still good for the UTI's

Lol, after we BD I put my knees up and tried to stay in that position for 30 mins. Then at 30 minutes my legs were aching and I was just about to get up then DH wanted to have another go! I didn't want to say no at that time of the month did I? So had to start over with the legs up thingo. Ah well, whatever works!

I've been thinking the same thing!

We started TTC last week on our honeymoon and it's so hard to stand up so ended up sticking a pillow under my bum and putting my legs in the air against the wall and reading a book!

Hubby thinks I'm crazy!!!

My OH thinks its hilarious to watch me afterwards trying to move accross the bed without lowering my legs! THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY CRAZY ONE ! lol

Whats the best time to stay with legs elevated for? i heard its about half hour?

yep..count me in too...right after i always prop my legs against the wall while OH makes fun of me for it..lol..but i told him if his swimmers were smarter i wouldnt have to help them so much..

i'm going to use that line next time my OH laughs at me.well he has now got used to seeing me in this position.. He told me a really strange story that his mom used to do cartwheels after dtd, well it took them 18 month to conceive so I definitely WON'T be doing cartwheels.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks weird things about TTC!!!

Thye really, really help it all stay in... you can get them at walgreens with the rest of the opk tests and such....
