:( i messed up my girls fringe

Ella's fringe was too long and getting in her eyes so I cut it but I stupidly cut too short and it looks horrible It might look too heavy as well but have no idea what to do I just want her cute fringe back

its just so short - needs to be about a 0.5cm - a cm longer.

Cut vertically! Instead of across, hold the scissors straight up and down. I hate having my hair cut my stylist friend taught me how to trim it myself without looking like I did it myself. If you trim straight up and down, skipping spaces, she can get the wispy look back! For her, just holding them up and down, careful that only a few hairs at a time make it in the scissors should do the trick.

I don't think it looks bad! Just if you liked the wispy look in the earlier picture, thats how to get it back, just shorter.

Twist it up and back and clip it on top of her head, you'll never notice.. It'll grow back before you know it x

you could just i think its called feathering/tapering? i dont know do dont quote me on that one
but where you dont just chop you take a section of hair and run the scissors up and down the piece whilst slowly chopping...its hard to explain my mum was a hair dresser and taught me a bit, i do my own now but i cant really explain how.

but it actually doesnt look that bad at all

Aw, I think it looks quite cute. You could always do what I do to my fringe, and pin it back with a little clip til it grows out x x

That looks like every haircut I ever had as a kid. I have memories of sitting on the bathroom counter while my dad kept cutting my bangs shorter and shorter (he could never seem to get them straight) until I had just a fringe that stuck straight up in the air. Now we look at these photos and laugh our butts off.

Don't worry, it will grow. It really isn't that bad. I think she looks very sweet

I think it looks a bit cute actually! but don't try and feather it yourself. Go to a salon I'm sure they will do it for next to nothing.
