Well i'm on 14dpo and i have got loads of symptoms. I got a really really faint line like a shadow really on a test. I told my friend and she was like oh go to your doctors and i'm like there is no point yet i know i will have to wait till i'm like a week late to get a strong line.

Well tonight she was on one saying all this!! saying that cos i lost a baby at 8wks and 4 days MMC that i should go right away to a doctor and get checked. I was like whats the point they cant do anything even if i do MC. She was like well i'm here if you need a shoulder to cry on!! I was like oh thanks that makes me feel amazing knowing that u think i will MC and that i will need sum1!:growlmad::cry:

Theres me being really positive and not trying to think about anything like that and then she comes out with that!!!

All i want is for everyone to be positive!!!!! ITS NOT HARD!!!!

oh i sooooo annoyed right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:growlmad::growlmad::growlmad::growlmad::growlmad:

boo not very supportive...good luck hun, hope its stronger soon for u x

B**locks to her! She probably didn't mean to be so insensitive but that's a pretty stupid thing to say!

Hope you get a stronger line and I'm sure you'll get a very sticky bean this time... :yipee:

Don't let her stress you out, I know that's easier said than done, but get it out of your system then concentrate on looking after yourself!

:hugs: x x x

:dust: to you dear!! Sometimes, the best thing to say is nothing at all :)

:hugs:

We all run into these sorts of situations where our friends don't understand what it means to be TTC and what a strange experience it can be.
I'll try to tell even my mom my symptoms and she will say things like "Oh , well it could just be..." and casually brush aside every thing I mention.
I think the problem is that some people think that we want to be totally 100% realistic all of the time; the thing about this TTC journey is that we have to remain positive through everything. While sugarcoating isn't necessary, disregard for positivity and hope isn't either.
My mom is a lost cause :p but I was wondering if maybe you talked to your friend and explained to her how positive you want this situation to be and what kind of topics you would consider too negative/unapproachable at this point. Maybe this might help?
Sorry if that's kind of a long response to your thread.
