I think I have hit a brick wall

ok Ladies bear with me,

It has now been over a year TTC to no avail. I am now on CD 54 and there is very little sign of AF. I have had an increased amount of CM for about a week, some cramps yesterday that I thought were AF but were not, and bugger all else.

I have had blood tests for PCOS (i had one scan a couple of years ago that showed i did have it, then another last year that shows i do not), which two doctors have told me different things about, one says that they do not show it and the other thinks they do.

I am so unbelievably fed up, i dont know what to do now? I brought the CBFM but that is as good as new because my cycles have gone so damned long that there is no point using it. I have POAS 3 times in 4 days in vain hope that maybe i have skipped ovulating, hence the long cycle and that its too early to show anything - but who am i kidding?!

I am obviously going to go back to the Dr, what should I be asking them? I want something to be done, at least just to give me a regular cycle.

Sorry for the rant, just dont know what I should be doing about it all now

hi didnt want to read & run, wish i could help or advise u but unfortunatly im in the same position cycle wise. Currently CD53...and sick of having long cycles. Like yourself been having cramping pain for past week or so and CM. Wish i had the answers for us both. As for your doctors is there anyone else you could speak to for a second opinion?

has the doctors prescribed you any hormone pills yet? I was watching mystery diagnosis on tlc and it showed a lady who was battling with pcos and after taking the hormone supplements she got pregnant quite fast. sorry for your

As you have been ttc for over a year with no luck, then you should ask for a referral to FS, also I know you have long cycles but has your oh had a sperm sample done yet? Because I have PCOS we always thought it was because of me we couldnt get pregnant and was totally stunned to find my dh had problems too! You also should ask for blood forms for when does show so you can have cd2/3 and cd 21 tests done to take to the FS with you.

I managed to get pregnant last February but lost the baby at 9wk 5days, and since then i guess i have been a bit depressed and have put on a fair bit of weight which i know doesnt help.


I will go and see her next week and suggest Clomid or something. I just cant bear it, its getting to a point now where it is almost physical pain when i think about it because i feel like it wont ever happen and i am reading into ever sign. I am going to the loo more and have EWCM for about a week on the trot now, and here i am thinking "oohh i might be" when in reality it is probably my period taunting me and then running away again.

I hope the Dr doesnt think i am being cheeky by trying to reccomend to her what to give me, but its been over a year now. The only other thing that could have contributed to it was one Depo Injection?
