I have been having some weird cramps for the last couple of days but I chalked it up to gas. Then today I have had some bright red spotting and I just took an IC HPT and it is negative. I am so shocked and gutted and my DH is away camping until Tuesday and I can't even call him. I guess I should see my Dr but really I just feel like crawling under a rock.

I'm so sorry. You really should get to your doctor though, they will need to confirm whether you have had a miscarriage and if it is complete. If it isn't then it could cause an infection which can be serious if left untreated.
Again, I'm so sorry you're having to go through this, it really is a horrible thing to have to endure, I have had 2 mcs myself and it took me quite awhile to feel better again.

Do you think that at 5 wks it shouldn't matter how concentrated the urine is? I didn't even get a faint line. This is so hard.

Definitely call your doc hun. If it was just spotting, everything may be okay.

I'm going through the exact same thing.

I should be 5wk 2days today. Got two positive tests last Thursday (I held off testing as long as possible) then on Friday night I started bleeding brown, then red.

I went to the early pregnancy unit and they made me feel dreadful, told me you could barely see the positive line on the test and that I was probably miscarrying. I gave them a blood sample and came home - did another test the same brand as before and the line had gone faint, plus did a clearblue digital and it said "pregnant 1-2 weeks". I was gutted.

However, after having given the hospital a second blood sample yesterday (they lost my first one) I've been told my hcg is 42 and progesterone 20, which is average for my week. Also, I've started getting lines on my tests again. Got to go back on Tuesday for another blood test to see if my levels have doubled.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, it aint over 'til it's over. Go and get your bloods looked at.

Have everything crossed for you too. Bleeding is incredibly common early on so don't give up hope just yet. Try and get bloods and a scan done soon to see xxx

Thanks everyone. I went in to see the Dr today and they agreed that I am miscarrying. Of course, there is nothing that can be done. They are doing some blood tests to check my hcg and they checked to see if it might be ectopic, but it doesn't seem like it. Still more than 24 hours until my husband comes home. Thanks for being there BnB gals!

Thanks everyone. Just got a call from the Dr's telling me that my hcg was 7 today from 110 last wednesday, which is also low I think. I am trying to be forward thinking about this and the only up side is that since my hcg is so low now it probably won't be too long before we can try again. I just can't believe that I am going to have to tell my husband all this tomorrow night. Thanks so much for your support ladies. It has really made a huge difference.
